Came upon this beautiful Snapper last Thursday morning in southern Indiana just sat in the road,moved safely far away from the road in the direction she was heading,females this time of the year leave rivers/ponds to find suitable nest sites and many fall victim to cars while on the move..never ever pick them up by the tail..
