Tortoise Trust - Private Rehoming

Postby Nadine Highfield » Tue Jun 11, 2013 4:31 pm

The Tortoise Trust has a private rehoming system where Tortoise Trust members who can no longer keep their tortoises or turtles can rehome their to other members. Most can no longer keep the tortoises in their care due to death, old age, poor health, or unexpected life changes. The Tortoise Trust rehoming system ensures that these long-lived animals will be placed with keepers that will ensure their future welfare.

In order to rehome from the Private Rehoming system, you must be a full Tortoise Trust member and remain a member for the entire period you have the animal in your care. If you are a Tortoise Trust member and would like to consider fostering a Tortoise Trust animal, please contact me at and I will send you further details.

Thank you,
