Due to serious family illness, this beautiful female tortoise, named Lucy, needs a new home. Lucy is a much loved tortoise who has been with her family for many years. Rehoming her was a very difficult decision for them to make, but one that was in the best interest of the tortoise.

Lucy was purchased in 1980 as an adult and laid eggs that year. Based on the photos we've received, she appears to be somewhere between fifty and sixty years old. She has a carapace length of 24 cm.

Lucy is in Garforth, Leeds.

The owner would like Lucy to have a home where she will receive the love, care and attention that she has enjoyed over the past thirty five years. She has wonderful personality, is quite a character and, as you can see, she's very photogenic!

If you have suitable indoor housing and a secure outdoor area and would be interested in offering Lucy a home, please send a completed application to Nadine at with "Female Ibera (Garforth, Leeds) (Bennett)" as the subject.
