We have had an urgent call for help from a person who has an illness and can no longer afford to heat his tank containing two yellow-bellied sliders. The turtles are in danger.

All safe and sound with us now..settling in to the emergency 75gal tub at the moment..we be permanently homed in a private safe outdoor pond as soon as the temps rise...hope I don't get too attached to them both...pics to follow

Quick up-date..both doing very well with us,just waiting for the temps to warm before they are both off to their new home..busy as hell here at the moment,we've also taken in 3 Mississippi map turtles that will also be rehomed along with another 2 maps that we are waiting to pick up and...3 RES..15 in total all needing feeding,water changes,maintenance on the set-ups..I'll get picks up of them all...when I get a moment :D

Well today was the day in all honesty I've been looking forward too and not looking forward too..if that makes sense :roll:
Got a little attached to thease beautiful female Turtles but it was all about them and not our feelings for them so it was off to their new forever home,a beautiful pond that's safe and secure with a wonderful caring new owner...so from a fish tank on a window sill in Putney to this..
