egg laying or not

It seems to be an unusual year: tortoises laying an unusually large number of eggs/laying a clutch first time for years.
Fine, when they lay them, but one of our (younger) tortoises had 10 inside her, we have got 8 of them (some help with an injection of oxytoxin) but 2 are left, I think). Before she goes back to the vet, I'd be interested in what anyone else has to comment. I'm concerned that the temperatures now are already not good enough for her to lay naturally, so what is the outcome? My son has been taking her to the vet and I have yet to do so in his absence. Thanks

I would probably advise trying some calcium injections followed by a second dose of oxytocin a few days later.
