This is a nasty one. Big loose piece of bone... we are still planning exactly what to do with this. Meantime, it is being irrigated, stabilised and is on antibiotics.

Will need some structural work...

The loose piece is taped into position right now, just to prevent further damage from it shifting around. There is some exposed lung tissue...

Horrific injuries..but some good may come from thease images...I'll save them to my iPhone and show people when I get the old...they have always got on fine crap when talking about the dangers of dogs and Tortoise's been allowed to come into contact...hope this little one makes it.

Yes. Wild - taken by a stray dog and dropped by a road.

Sadly, have to report that it died overnight. We were not too optimistic, but at least we tried...
