Loose pale droppings

Postby Braeside » Mon Oct 07, 2019 5:46 pm

Our c. 75 yr old Greek Spur Thigh has had loose pale dropings since Spring and sometimes needs to be cleaned up around his tail. His diet has not been changed over the 48 years we have had him. (Mainly weeds and salad with a limited amount of fruit.) In the past, his droppings have always been dark brown and a definite shape. We took him to a non- expert vet who sent a sample off for a full battery of tests and all came back normal. Any ideas? Is it just his age?

We recommend no fruit at all.

Not necessary and can cause all kinds of digestive issues.
