We took Eddie our hermanns here for the first time last week. I was impressed, the vet seemed very knowledgable about Tortoises, their anatomy and husbandry. The vet had her own torts and said she looked at about 200-300 torts a year.

We've been to this vet a few times now for their pre and post hibernation checkups (only a fiver) and more recently to get albert chipped. They are very good and knowledgeable.

Unfortunately the Vet for the above practice is leaving in the next few days. Does anyone know of any other vet specialist in the Nottingham area, as I need a second opinion on my Leopard Tortoise.

Kind Regards

Reptile specialist William Lewis (CertZooMed) fantastic guy and knew his stuff - great with torts - William is formally of Wylie Veterinary Centre Upminster - might be an idea to remove Wylie from the list now as I understand they no longer have a reptile specialist
