Very sad that a species protected status has been blatantly ignored here.

I believe Green Iguanas were/are captive farmed in Belize, where they are referred to as Green Chicken.

(As a veggie, I find both practices abhorrent.)
Hermanns (old female and 6 home-bred offspring), iberas (two), kbn (rescue), leopard, horsfield (rescue), stars (2 - long term loan), red-eared sliders (5)
