This a cross stitch picture I did of my Ibera Donner.

These are just some of the motifs I designed to use raise some cash for the TT in
the early days. I used them make sweaters which I machine knitted.

Joan I am very impressed, I would not have the patience to even attempt cross stitch. Your designs are brilliant. Do you still sell your knits? I would be interested in something with torts on. I wear a tortoise ring, that never comes off and i have a fantastic tort necklace, but this animal is not often seen on jewellry/clothing etc.
Thank you so much Joan for adding your talent to this thread, I hope many more follow suit. :D

No Ruth, unfortunately I don't make tortoise sweaters any more. Arthritis took over!! :(

All I do now is knit four-needle socks and make knitted and crocheted dolls clothes by hand. It helps to keep my fingers moving! I do still make small crosstich items, but it is only when my hands will let me!!

I also have a tortiose ring, several pendants and earrings and over 300 ornamental tortoises.
